Amimon Releases CONNEX Mini Demo Video
Published2016.01.25 17:43Amimon, an industry leader in HD wireless video transmission solutions targeting professional video and broadcast, A/V, and medical markets, held a press conference to unveil demo footage of its newly launched high-performance wireless HD video link, the "CONNEX Mini."
The CONNEX Mini delivers Full HD image quality, zero latency, digital transmission reliability, and encrypted transmission capability for live and sensitive shots, with multicasting capability at distances up to 1,600 feet (500 meters). The CONNEX Mini is currently priced at $1,299 (manufacturer's suggested retail price).
Ram Ofir, CEO of Amimon, stated, "We have already received excellent feedback from resellers and users regarding the CONNEX Mini HD video link," and added, "By newly expanding our CONNEX product family of HD wireless video transmission solutions, we have opened new horizons for aerial imaging production applications."
The CONNEX Mini transmitter measures just 65 x 45 x 15mm and weighs only 40 grams. The receiver likewise measures 100 x 71 x 18mm and weighs 140 grams. Despite its compact and lightweight design, the CONNEX Mini system boasts powerful performance.It features 1080p Full HD video at 60 frames per second, zero latency, transmission/reception range of 1,600 feet (500 meters), AES 128 encryption for secure transmission, and multicast reception capability from up to four receivers. It also provides S-bus, CANBUS, and PPM remote control and drone controller solutions, and features HDMI video interface on the receiver.
The CONNEX Mini's multicast functionality allows camera operators to simultaneously and independently control all pan/tilt/zoom functions while drone pilots operate the aircraft. This enables aerial cinematographers to achieve superior shot framing and ensures that critical scenes are never missed.
Additionally, the CONNEX Mini is compatible with Amimon apps for Android and Apple notebooks, enhancing convenience and operational ease. Through the app, users can more easily install and manage the system on-site, enabling rapid shooting and professional results.
