Among Ahn Lab customers, remotely monitoring network and firewall security

Ahn Lab has launched the 'Ahn Lab Remote Security Monitoring Service for AWS Customers,' which remotely manages the security of cloud servers for Amazon Web Services users.

Ahn Lab's service provides remote monitoring and management of network and firewall security—areas that AWS customers must directly manage under the shared responsibility model*—by Ahn Lab's incident response (CERT) specialists.

*AWS Infrastructure Service Shared Responsibility Model: When using AWS, management areas are divided between AWS and the customer, distributing operational responsibility. It is divided into AWS's own management areas such as data centers, computing, storage, and databases, and customer management areas including customer data, network & firewall, and application management.

Through this service, AWS customers can reduce the burden of directly managing security areas requiring high expertise, and can receive high-level security monitoring services provided by specialists as well as additional information on security threats.

Ahn Lab's 'Security Operation Center (SOC)' specialists provide security services necessary for AWS service use, including ▲continuous monitoring of customers' cloud servers, ▲operation of security solutions and security threat analysis within cloud environments, and ▲optimization and operation of security policies tailored to customers.

Data Visualization Dashboard and Security Intelligence Provision

Additionally, Ahn Lab provides a data visualization dashboard enabling customers to check their current security status in real-time, and provides security intelligence through regular and irregular monitoring reports, including the latest security trends and detection event analysis. This allows customers to independently assess their security level and perform high-level security management by leveraging threat intelligence.
