Semicon Korea Launches SSD Test Solution

SEMICON Korea 2016, an exhibition of cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing technology, will be held for three days from the 27th to the 29th at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul. This exhibition, the largest semiconductor-related exhibition in Korea in its 29th year, opened with the theme of 'Connect to the Future, Market, Technology, and People.'

With the largest ever participation of over 530 companies, led by the semiconductor equipment and materials industry, 1,870 booths have been installed, showcasing the latest semiconductor process technologies, equipment, materials, and special gases.

Japanese company ADVANTEST develops testing systems to check the quality of various semiconductors used in smartphones, PCs, automobiles, and other familiar electronic products.

This year's SEMICON Korea is introducing memory semiconductor inspection equipment and SSD memory storage inspection systems.

An Advantest Japanese official said, “We are delighted to be able to showcase our world-class products at this exhibition.”
