On February 3rd, Radware Korea, a company specializing in application delivery and security for virtual and cloud data centers, held a press conference at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Samseong Station, Seoul.

This press conference consisted of Radware's 2015 business performance, 2016 strategy presentation, and new product introduction. Prior to the new product launch, Radware Korea CEO Kim Do-geon opened the event by stating, "Security and cloud computing services are becoming increasingly expensive. The IT market is now moving toward more rational consumption. Radware is adapting to this trend by developing a Korean-style business model."

The current security market is expected to witness accelerating trends in automation and cloud computing, necessitating the provision of cutting-edge security technologies and solutions to meet these demands. Radware announced that it is currently experiencing sustained double-digit growth, with over 10,000 customers and global technology partners.

He also said that as a result of focusing on developing Korean-style strategic business, the proportion of Korean models (Alteon 5208, Alteon 4024, Alteon 6020) increased by 35% in 2015.

In particular, it explained that carrier and financial ADC sales showed growth, and that carriers recorded a growth rate of 38% and first-tier financial sector growth recorded a growth rate of 20%. Accordingly, Radware announced that it will solidify its leading position in ADC next year, led by the Alteon® NG and Alteon 6420.

Radware expects the newly announced ADC platform, the Alteon 8420, to contribute to Radware's expansion into the domestic mobile and enterprise markets, and plans to continuously respond to key industry trends such as SDN and NFV through its next-generation SDN and NFV solution strategy. The recently launched Alteon VA for NFV is the industry's first NFV-compliant software-based ADC that provides NFV not only on hardware platforms but also on ADC virtual appliances.

In addition, Radware Korea is steadily improving its security products by releasing the latest version of DefensePro and a cyberattack blocking service. Next year, the company plans to further expand its security business based on the successful references it has made this year in domestic telecommunications, financial, and IT service companies, and plans to focus in particular on the enterprise and carrier markets.
