Polycom RealPresence Clarity is simple, powerful, and cloud-deployable collaboration infrastructure software. It supports a diverse collaboration ecosystem and reasonable licensing models, allowing users to choose between a subscription-based annual contract and a perpetual purchase. Additionally, there are various deployment options, including hybrid or on-premises deployments via a partner's Internet Hosted Services (IaaS), as well as direct deployment within the customer's cloud network.

RealPresence Clarity can be installed quickly and efficiently with a simple user-based billing model, making it easy to adopt regardless of the customer's business size. In addition, it features Polycom® RealConnect™ capabilities, enabling Skype for Business users and users of other platforms to collaborate naturally while maintaining their existing user experience.

Hybrid Cloud Bursting Service that guarantees uninterrupted connectivity

Furthermore, RealPresence Clarity is the first collaboration infrastructure software solution to offer Hybrid Cloud Bursting as an option to ensure uninterrupted connectivity even during sudden surges in video collaboration usage. Therefore, if existing network resources fail to meet collaboration demands, meeting participants can seamlessly switch to secure Polycom cloud resources to continue collaborating without interruption.

Polycom also added that it is expanding support for developers through the newly expanded Polycom Sandbox. Polycom Sandbox provides partners, ISVs, and customers with access to a wealth of APIs and SDKs, enabling them to directly develop necessary applications and integrate them immediately into their workflows. In particular, it offers a comprehensive set of support tools and allows for the free exchange of information through the community regarding the development of innovative applications and workflow integration. In addition, Polycom® RealAccess™ services have been extended across the RealPresence Cloud Platform to provide data on the utilization of collaboration solutions, enabling customers to use and manage the entire solution more efficiently. RealAccess services provide powerful insights and detailed ROI reports to achieve more successful business results, allowing IT administrators to easily view analysis information on the usage of RealPresence Clarity.

Polycom RealPresence Clarity collaboration infrastructure software is currently available worldwide, including in Korea. However, the cloud bursting service will be available in North America starting in the second quarter of 2016, and in other regions thereafter. Polycom Sandbox is scheduled to be available on the Polycom Developers page in the first half of 2016.
