Check Point Software Technologies (Country Manager for Korea, Oh Se-ho), a security specialist, announced the launch of its new 15000 and 23000 series appliances for threat defense. Designed for specific purposes, this new hardware can protect enterprises from current and future threats by addressing the challenge of monitoring increasingly complex data arrays.

Questions are being raised regarding the effectiveness of existing security solutions due to cybercrime and attacks that are evolving to become more sophisticated. According to a 2015 security report published by Check Point, 106 unknown types of malware are downloaded every hour, and this figure continues to rise. Nevertheless, due to concerns regarding network performance and uptime, only 1% of companies utilize proactive security technologies to prevent zero-day attacks. In addition, only 10% of companies are using appropriate threat intelligence services that provide important, up-to-date information on the threat environment.

The new Check Point 15000 and 23000 series protect current enterprise and data center networks without compromising performance or uptime by combining a dedicated platform that meets current and future security needs with the most complete advanced threat defense technology.
