AMD Launches Virtual Reality Platform Delivering Powerful and Consistent Computing Performance

This product is a virtual reality platform developed for VR content producers and consumers, and has been developed to be utilized in virtual reality content creation environments across diverse fields including entertainment such as games and films, as well as education, journalism, and medical equipment. In particular, it provides developers with an environment to develop virtual reality content based on 16 TFLOPS of computing performance.
To develop and utilize virtual reality content, hardware that provides powerful and consistent computing performance is essential. Radeon Pro Duo is a virtual reality platform equipped with Liquid VR SDK developed based on AMD's IP and technological expertise across the graphics field, including FirePro and Radeon product lines, and provides superior graphics and virtual reality environments.
AMD maintains close collaborative relationships with the content development community, and through cutting-edge technologies such as Liquid VR, works to reduce latency, accelerate virtual reality pipeline construction, and address various challenges faced by developers.
The newly launched Radeon Pro Duo features dual GPUs and provides excellent performance required by virtual reality developers as well as content developers and consumers.
AMD Radeon Pro Duo is an initial product model included in AMD's virtual reality certification program, AMD VR Ready Creator, and is also adopted and utilized as Crytek VR First's virtual reality platform. Crytek VR First, which has adopted AMD Radeon Pro Duo as its platform, is currently operating a program that supports virtual reality research institutes in partnership with university educational institutions worldwide, targeting talent development in the virtual reality development field.
