Analytics Solution 'TIBCO Spotfire' Obtains SAP Certification
Published2016.05.03 13:49TIBCO Software, an integrated analytics and event processing company, announced that TIBCO Spotfire 7.5, its in-database and in-memory analytics solution, has obtained SAP certification for integration with the SAP HANA platform.
Through the integration certification of Spotfire 7.5 and SAP HANA, users' accessibility to the latest self-service capabilities of Spotfire—including enhanced data visualization, inline data preparation, scale-out architecture, and improved user collaboration—will be expanded.
The SAP Integration and Certification Center (SAP ICC) stated that Spotfire successfully integrates with the SAP HANA platform using standard integration technology, and through interoperability between Spotfire and SAP HANA, it supports in-database and in-memory analytics for customers.
Thomas Blomberg, Senior Director of Product Management at TIBCO, said, "We are pleased that Spotfire has obtained integration certification with SAP's HANA platform. The interoperability between Spotfire and SAP HANA brings great benefits to our customers because they can trust a solution that supports integration in production environments." He added, "We focused on enabling enterprise customers to customize their business logic to their needs through the integration of Spotfire and SAP HANA, and allowing more data professionals to use the Spotfire product extensively."
TIBCO is an SAP partner participating in the SAP PartnerEdge program. Within this program, SAP partners collaborate closely with SAP to develop and certify solutions that support integration with SAP software. The integrated applications developed by SAP partners through this program enhance and complement the value of SAP solutions, and SAP and its partners enable their customers to meet business requirements while achieving results.
The latest version of Spotfire was released to improve users' data exploration. To this end, Spotfire 7.5 provides new self-service capabilities and has simplified data discovery functionality. Unlike previous versions, Spotfire 7.5 additionally provides graphic data, collaboration utilizing business context, and expanded connectivity. Moreover, the server has been newly redesigned to simplify administrative tasks while incorporating scale-out performance capabilities.

Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. Ecolab Expands AI Data Center Cooling Business Through Acquisition of CoolIT
Ecolab has agreed to acquire CoolIT Systems, a liquid cooling company for AI data centers, for approximately $4.75 billion.
