Runtastic Officially Enters Hardware Market Starting with Smartband Orbit

Runtastic is now coming to the hardware market. Runtastic, which garnered attention after being acquired by Adidas of Germany, is developing and selling various hardware designed to maximize effectiveness, based on its robust and diverse exercise-based applications.

Previously, the product was sold primarily among domestic fitness enthusiasts through partial direct purchases and unofficial importers; however, following the signing of a formal distributorship agreement with the headquarters, the official distribution of the product, which offers after-sales service and full Korean language support, has been announced.

The first product to be introduced is the Orbit, a fitness smartband that can be considered a steady seller. The Orbit is characterized by the fact that it is not just a simple smartband, but a fitness tracker that can be used in daily life 24 hours a day.

In daily life, you can check your steps and calorie expenditure, and sleep analysis is also possible. You can control everything through the dedicated app, Runtastic Me, and receive wake-up alerts. By syncing with a smartphone, you can also check for incoming calls, texts, and KakaoTalk messages via gentle vibration.

The true value of Orbit is fully realized when you exercise. It is compatible with various Runtastic apps, and in particular, when you launch the Runtastic Pro app, it immediately transforms into a dedicated fitness band. With dust and water resistance, water sports such as swimming are no problem, and you can check various information such as exercise volume, calories burned, and distance in real-time on your wrist without having to open your smartphone.

Once your workout is finished, all information is synchronized to the cloud for storage, viewing, and analysis. You can perform professional analysis via the app as well as on a PC. With the social media feature, you can also cheer on your friends in real-time when they exercise.


You can easily and conveniently synchronize all data with your smartphone via simple Bluetooth, and it boasts a powerful and highly compatible app that supports not only Android and iPhone but also Windows Phone.

It comes standard with two band colors, black and blue, and includes a clip that allows you to attach it to a hat or waist. The dedicated magnetic charger allows for quick and convenient charging without the need to detach the band, and it can be used for up to 5 days on a single charge.
