Tesla Motors begins online pre-orders for the Model S, Model X, and Model 3 in Korea.

Tesla announced that customers can make pre-orders by paying a deposit for the Model S (2 million won), Model X (5 million won), and Model 3 (1 million won), respectively.

Tesla is the world's first premium electric vehicle company headquartered in California. Founded in 2003 by Silicon Valley engineers, Tesla took the electric vehicle market by storm with unprecedented performance, design, and customer experience.

Model S

Unlike other cars currently on the road, Tesla continuously improves its vehicles through wireless software updates and adds new features.
On the outside, it is also equipped with the longest driving range and state-of-the-art safety features that lead the automotive industry.

The Model S, the world's first fully electric sedan, symbolizes the evolution of automotive engineering. Combining performance, safety, and efficiency, the Model S received the highest safety ratings and achieved a longer driving range than any other electric vehicle. The safety rating received a 5-star rating from NHTSA and Euro NCAP.

The company stated that the Model X is an SUV boasting the best stability, speed, and performance in automotive history. The Model X is a vehicle that combines performance and utility, featuring special functions including Falcon Wing doors, an all-glass panoramic windshield, and seven-seater seating.

The large number of Model 3 pre-orders from Korean consumers has proven that Tesla is receiving significant interest in Korea. The company announced that Korean consumers will be able to experience the Model S at Tesla stores and test drive events by the end of this year, while the Model X will be available in 2017. The Model 3 starts at $35,000 and deliveries will begin within 2017.

Tesla plans to support the realization of zero-emission transportation in Korea to reduce air pollution. It introduced the launch of the pre-order website as the first step in building a long-term relationship with Korean consumers.
