Dassault Systèmes Delivers Enhanced Productivity, Collaboration, and Data Management Capabilities

Dassault Systèmes (www.3ds.com/ko) held a press conference with the CEO of SolidWorks at the Grand Intercontinental Hotel in Gangnam and announced the latest version of its 3D engineering application, ‘SOLIDWORKS 2017.’

Utilizable across all stages of product development, the new SolidWorks 2017 meets the diverse design and engineering needs of over 3.1 million users worldwide. In particular, the 3D design and development application, accessible anytime, anywhere, on any device, provides a more flexible work environment for both startups and large global corporations.

SolidWorks 2017's integrated applications support users across design, verification, collaboration, management, and deployment. Enhanced Model Based Definition (MBD) capabilities bring us closer to drawing-less manufacturing, and new features for PCB (Printed Circuit Board) design have been added. Maximize productivity by supporting analysis, visualization, and verification needed by new and existing SolidWorks users before prototypes are produced.

New tools that allow the use of any 3D model format as-is support enhanced collaboration between partners and customers, while new Product Data Management (PDM) capabilities that manage from concept through production provide more robust support for multiple sites.
