Dassault Systèmes Presents Corporate Survival and Innovation Strategies for the Fourth Industrial Revolution Era
Proposing Business Technology Innovation Strategies and Sharing Cases for Domestic Industry

Dassault Systèmes (www.3ds.com) held the "2016 3D Experience Forum Press Briefing" on the theme of "Wake Up KOREA" at the Shilla Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul on the 5th, and presented corporate survival and innovation strategies for the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Cho Young-bin, CEO of Dassault Systèmes Korea, delivered a keynote speech on the theme "Wake Up KOREA! We need real turnaround." In his keynote address, CEO Cho Young-bin emphasized the necessity of change management through data-driven platform utilization by Korean companies in the current business environment facing the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

In particular, he pointed out that ▲reinvestigation and analysis of corporate innovation investments and systems, ▲accurate understanding of disruptive technology trends, and ▲genuine change management in which philosophy, processes, and collaborative culture create a virtuous cycle are matters that business leaders should prioritize.

At this 3D Experience Forum, starting with keynote remarks by CEO Cho Young-bin of Dassault Systèmes Korea, global innovation cases were presented including ▲a successful case of developing a two-seater aircraft using the 3D Experience platform by Arthur LEOPOLD-LEGER, CEO of French aviation venture company "Elixir Aircraft," ▲innovation cases by Thierry THOMAS, Vice President of "SAFRAN," one of the world's top 10 aerospace and defense companies, and more.

Additionally, representative success cases of domestic companies utilizing Dassault Systèmes' 3D Experience platform were presented, including Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI), SsangYong Motor, Hurom, and Samwoo CM.

Meanwhile, in the afternoon, Dassault Systèmes presented strategies and success cases for corporate innovation at the 3D Experience Forum and, in pursuit of sustainable innovation through industry-academia cooperation, will conclude a "Korean Smart Manufacturing Innovation Agreement" attended by Dassault Systèmes' major partners, the Smart Manufacturing Association, and major domestic universities.

The universities participating in this agreement ceremony are a total of 11 universities including Konyang University, Kyungpook National University, Keimyung University, Sunmoon University, Tongmyong University, Hanyang University, Kookmin University, Sungkyunkwan University, Korea Polytechnic University, Korea Aerospace University, Sunghyun University, Chung-Ang University, Kyungwoon University, Busan University of Foreign Studies, Kyungil University, and Geoje University (in alphabetical order). Dassault Systèmes plans to provide generous technical support for talent development at these universities together with its partners such as Solidworks and Hana TES.
