Garmin announced the launch of the 'Fenix Chronos,' a premium version of its flagship Fenix smartwatch.
Available in three styles, the 'Phoenix Chronos' is equipped with all the various functions of a multisport smartwatch, combined with jewelry-grade luxury materials and a sophisticated style. It is released in three versions—titanium, steel, and steel plus vintage leather—allowing you to style it to suit your lifestyle, and the band can be easily replaced with a silicone sports band for convenience during workouts.
All three versions feature scratch-resistant sapphire lenses, and the 1.2-inch Chlomar display with LED backlighting boasts excellent visibility even in strong direct sunlight. For users who enjoy extreme sports, it features not only strong durability but also a 10ATM (100 meters) water resistance rating.
Equipped with Connect IQ™ compatibility and wireless connectivity, the Fenix Chronos is a smartwatch perfectly customized for the user. Users can customize their Fenix Chronos by downloading various apps, widgets, watch faces, and data fields for free from the Garmin Connect Store, and check various notifications, such as incoming calls, text messages, and emails, directly on the watch screen. In addition, through automatic synchronization with the mobile app, users can easily upload activity data wirelessly, start LiveTrack meetings, or share their workout results on social media.
The powerful tracking capabilities that were well-received in the Garmin Fenix 3 product line are equally applied to the Fenix Chronos. The omnidirectional EXO™ antenna, equipped with GPS and GLONASS satellite reception capabilities, provides a much better reception environment than when GPS is used alone, and the ABC sensors (altimeter, barometer, and compass) deliver perfect performance even in mountainous terrain.
Supporting various sports such as running, cycling, swimming, skiing, golf, paddleboarding, and rowing, the battery life of the Fenix Chronos is up to 25 hours in UltraTrac™ mode, up to 13 hours in GPS mode, and up to 1 week in smartwatch mode.
