Samsung Electronics will showcase C-Lab projects that combine IT with various lifestyle fields such as kids and beauty at CES 2017.

In addition to outstanding projects currently underway at Samsung Electronics C-Lab, spin-off companies that have directly commercialized their own ideas at C-Lab are also participating in the exhibition.

At CES 2017, they will showcase 'Tag+', an IoT device for children that combines IT technology with toys; 'S-Skin', a skin home care solution that performs skin analysis and care simultaneously; and 'LUMINI', a portable skin measuring device that prevents problems by measuring inside the skin.

'S-Skin' is a smart home care solution that allows for easy skincare at home without time or cost constraints. It consists of a micro-needle patch and a portable device that assists with skin measurement and care. The micro-needle patch delivers active ingredients deep into the skin to enhance absorption. The portable device measures skin moisture content, redness, and melanin levels, and utilizes LED light of specific wavelengths to enable care tailored to individual skin characteristics. Users can also analyze measured skin condition information using a dedicated application installed on a smartphone for continuous management.

'Tag Plus' is a button-type IoT device that children can easily use, and 'Lumin' is a portable device that notifies of skin problems in advance.
