One all-in-one badge gets you through from CES exhibition hall entry to monorail

NXP Semiconductors announced that it has partnered with CTA (Consumer Technology Association), the organizer of CES, and Las Vegas Monorail to provide a smart experience for CES visitors. Visitors were able to use the all-in-one badge provided during the event not only to enter the exhibition hall but also to board the local monorail.
Based on NXP's MIFARE DESFire EV contactless IC technology, visitors were able to board the Las Vegas Monorail or use bicycle sharing services using the event badge. Additionally, visitors could pre-purchase monorail tickets and register them on the badge, or purchase monorail tickets during the event using NXP AppXplorer.

Rafael Stomayor, Senior Vice President and Head of Security and Connectivity at NXP, stated, "By embedding monorail tickets within the badge, we have provided an ideal solution that allows participants to conveniently move in and out of the exhibition hall. Additionally, given that the same badge can be used to share bicycle sharing services, NXP envisions future services that can be diversely provided through event tickets such as hotel room access keys."
This technology was realized through NXP's smart card solution, MIFARE DESFire EV2, which enables connectivity through a single form of identity verification within a smart city ecosystem. At this CES, NXP particularly demonstrated online services through NXP AppXplorer in a separate special exhibition area, presenting the potential to link various services.

H.Energy has obtained green technology certification from the Small and Medium Business Administration for solar power generation forecasting and I-V curve anomaly diagnosis technology. The AI-based asset management platform SolarOnCare is deployed across more than 3,000 power plants nationwide, achieving a system uptime of 99.82% and a 3.7% improvement in power generation performance. Through real-time data analysis, it protects power generation revenue by detecting and managing minor losses such as module degradation and partial shading early on.
