Acronis announced the launch of 'Acronis True Image 2017 NG (ATI)', a personal backup solution that provides comprehensive data protection features.

ATI2017NG consists of 'Acronis Active Protection,' which can protect against ransomware attacks; 'Acronis Notary,' a blockchain-based data authentication and verification solution; and 'Acronis Assign,' a user-friendly electronic document signing service.

Acronis True Image is the first product to feature 'Active Protection,' a technology that detects and defends against ransomware in real time, and provides backup, self-protection backup, and the ability to automatically recover all data from backup applications.

Acronis True Image (ATI) is a personal backup solution that protects Windows and Mac computers, iOS and Android mobile devices, as well as social network accounts such as Facebook. It protects personal and family data using AES 256 encryption technology and supports storing data in various locations, such as external drives and NAS devices, shared networks, and the file sharing synchronization solution 'Acronis Cloud'.

New features added to Acronis True Image (ATI) 2017NG include Acronis Active Protection, which detects abnormal computer behavior to prevent malicious applications from damaging user data, backups, and backup software; Acronis Notary, which supports authentication for all types of file content and verification of modifications to original versions of content; and Acronis Assign, which allows multiple stakeholders to execute and authenticate secure, publicly auditable digital signatures on documents.
