IDC Selects Digital Leaders in Asia-Pacific
Published2017.02.10 18:56IDC has launched the 'IDC DX Award' to select the best digital transformation companies in the Asia-Pacific region that have achieved outstanding excellence in the digital transformation (DX) process or led the transformation of the market and industry landscape.
IDC selects digital leaders by country and plans to announce the winners for the Asia-Pacific region at the '2017 IDC DX Award' conference in Singapore this coming November. In this regard, IDC Korea plans to accept nominations for outstanding DX companies and organizations in Korea throughout the month of March.
Jang Soon-yeol, Managing Director overseeing the research group at IDC Korea, stated, “Digital transformation is becoming a core strategy and management style for industry leaders, and companies will leverage various technologies to operate in a more agile and flexible ‘digital native’ manner.”
IDC explained that to ensure transparency and fairness in the DX Awards evaluation process, it plans to conduct the evaluation by forming a judging panel consisting of IDC Asia-Pacific expert researchers, external independent panels, and industry experts.

LG Uplus to Provide ICT Services to Halla Group
LG Uplus will establish information and communications technology (ICT) for Halla Group. The company will provide telecommunications services including ultra-high-speed internet, dedicated lines, and wireline telephone services to all of Halla Group's affiliates.
