Solve your problem with fully protected header terminals in an ultra-small pitch package

Molex Korea has launched Nano-Fit, an ultra-miniature fully insulated terminal power connector that provides terminal protection and a variety of mating options to ensure reliable mating. The product also provides terminal placement assurance to prevent terminal backout.

“Power application customers are constantly faced with the choice of whether to choose exposed terminal headers that risk connector damage or a large, fully-insulated style that takes up a lot of space,” said Trent Perkins, product manager for Molex. “Our ultra-miniature Nano-Fit power connectors solve that problem by giving design engineers a better solution with a fully protected header terminal in an extremely narrow 2.50mm pitch package.”

Using multiple headers with the same pin count on a single PCB complicates assembly, as receptacles can end up incorrectly mated to the wrong header. “Using the ultra-miniature Nano-Fit power connectors, which come in a variety of mating options and colors, not only speeds up assembly, but also reduces the risk of mismating,” Perkins added.

In assembly operations, the connector's ultra-low mating force terminals reduce worker fatigue and improve the assemblability of multi-circuit applications. Additionally, the 'positive lock' housing with anti-lock design feature prevents accidental separation of the mated connector assembly. The connector also produces a 'click' sound when mating, which confirms correct mating.
