LG Uplus Raises Official Subsidies for Smartwatches for Graduation and School Admission Season

On the 14th, LG Uplus increased the official subsidy for the 'Galaxy Gear S3' model. If you subscribe to an LTE wearable plan for the Galaxy Gear S3, you can receive a subsidy of 216,000 won, making it available for purchase in the 200,000 won range.

The Galaxy Gear S3 is a smartwatch equipped with a built-in speaker and an LTE communication module, allowing for independent calling without a smartphone. The S3 features an Always On Display (AOD) function, enhancing the watch's core function through a watch face that is always on.
In addition, LG Uplus has increased the subsidy for the kids' watch 'Juniver Toki,' which tracks a child's location and supports voice, call, and text services.
Juniver Toki, launched last March, is available for subscription with the LTE Wearable Kids plan and the LTE Wearable plan. The retail price is 220,000 won, and 195,000 won is being subsidized.

The LTE Wearable Kids plan provides 50 minutes of voice calls, 250 text messages, and 100MB of data (unlimited voice and text for one line within the network). For Juniver Toki, an additional unlimited line within the network is provided. If both parents are U+ customers, a total of two lines can use unlimited voice and text.
