Vicor Unveils Higher Current Cool-Power ZVS Buck Regulator Family
Published2017.02.24 15:09Bycor announces the addition of the PI3525-00-LGIZ, a new 48V (30-60Vin) input device to its Cool-Power ZVS buck regulator portfolio.
The newly announced PI352x offers higher current compared to the existing PI354x portfolio. The PI3525-00-LGIZ is a 5V output regulator that provides up to 20A and is housed in a 10x14mm LGP SiP package.
Vicor's PI352x portfolio features the same functionality as existing 48V Cool-Power ZVS buck regulators, delivering twice the power of the PI354x family in a 40% larger package.
The PI3525-00-LGIZ requires no output inductor and minimal passives for low-cost designs using less than 740 mm2 of PCB space. Designed for parallel connection of up to three regulators, the PI352x regulators are scalable to support applications with higher load currents.
