NVIDIA Begins Registration for 'Overwatch GeForce Championship'
Published2017.03.21 12:24NVIDIA announced the hosting of the 'Overwatch GeForce Championship,' an Overwatch battle held on the GeForce high-end gaming platform, and began registration for participants.
This championship, held in conjunction with NVIDIA officially certified PC cafes equipped with over 70 high-end graphics cards from the GeForce GTX 970/1070 lineup or higher, was organized to deliver the immersive and thrilling gaming experience provided by the GeForce gaming platform to Overwatch gamers nationwide.
The preliminary rounds will be held nationwide from April 15 to 30 at six NVIDIA officially certified PC cafes located in regions including Jeju, Gyeongsang, Jeolla, Chungcheong, Gyeonggi, and Seoul. The main tournament is scheduled to take place online in May, while the semifinals and finals will be held on June 24 during NVIDIA GeForce Day. Meanwhile, NVIDIA selects PC cafes that upgrade 70 or more PCs to high-end graphics cards of the GeForce GTX 1070 lineup or higher as 'NVIDIA Officially Certified PC Cafes' after an internal review.
