The KSS104 improves mechanical shock resistance and reduces standby power. Additionally, bandwidth has increased by more than 10% to 6 gigabytes per second, and it supports PCIe and high-speed video signals in addition to the previously supported USB 3.0, DisplayPort, and SATA. It transfers large files between computing devices using a compact, low-cost, low-power solid-state embedded electromagnetic connector.
