Sharing of collaborative achievements and awarding 12 partner companies for outstanding performance

LG Electronics and its partner companies gathered in one place for mutual growth.

LG Electronics held the '2017 LG Electronics Partner Association General Meeting' on the 31st of last month at the LG Electronics Learning Center in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi-do, with the attendance of company executives including LG Electronics CEO Vice Chairman Cho Seong-jin and Purchasing Center Head Executive Vice President Lee Si-yong, as well as representatives from 99 major partner companies.

At this event, the association shared major cooperation achievements from the past year and selected and awarded 12 partner companies that achieved outstanding results in productivity improvement and quality enhancement. LG Electronics shared its key priorities for this year, including establishing an efficient production system through component standardization and commonization, and building a smart factory utilizing big data.



LG Electronics and its partner companies have decided to continue various social contribution activities for socially vulnerable groups, such as child heads of households, multicultural families, and the elderly living alone, in order to faithfully fulfill their corporate social responsibility.

Vice Chairman Cho Seong-jin emphasized, “To uphold quality and safety, which are the most fundamental and important promises to our customers, it is crucial to secure component competitiveness through the active participation of partner companies from the initial stages of product development,” adding, “Let us work together to leap forward as a true ‘No. 1 LG’ that remains unshaken by any crisis.”

Meanwhile, LG Electronics has been implementing various support policies for shared growth targeting partner companies, including consulting support for productivity improvement, interest-free and low-interest loans, and free training support.
