ASUS has signed an official sponsorship agreement with the SKT T1 team to revitalize the domestic esports industry and strengthen global competitiveness, and plans to cooperate with the team on various online and offline promotional and marketing activities. In the future, SKT T1 team players will wear uniforms featuring the ASUS ROG logo and will use various ROG hardware in practice matches, including the ROG G11CD-K-KR006T desktop, GL702 laptop, and the PG258Q gaming monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate.
SKT T1 LoL, founded in December 2012, is a professional gaming team that includes the global superstar Lee Sang-hyeok (ID name Faker). It is also the world's best LoL professional gaming team, having achieved the feat of winning the 'LoL World Championship' three times in 2015 and 2016, starting from the year following its founding in 2013.
An official from ASUS Korea stated, “League of Legends is a game that requires both product performance and stability, and the SKT T1 team will enjoy the best gaming experience with ASUS ROG products,” adding, “In particular, this sponsorship agreement with the SKT T1 team is significant in that it brings together the best gaming hardware brand with the strongest professional gaming team, and we plan to further strengthen our engagement with esports fans in the future.”

ASUS held a VIP product launch event on March 9th to commemorate the launch of the premium gaming monitor PG258Q. The event was conducted to allow consumers to directly experience three key features of the gaming monitor: a 240Hz refresh rate, 1ms response speed, and G-Sync module integration. An ASUS representative stated, "It is the world's fastest G-Sync equipped gaming monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate, which is approximately 1.7 times faster than the standard gaming monitor refresh rate of 144Hz."

ASUS Launches 'Small and Light, but Heavy Performance' Gaming PC
ASUS's gaming brand ROG has announced the domestic launch of the mini PC ROG GR8 II. The mini ROG GR8 II is a gaming PC currently designed for VR with dimensions of 299mm width, 88mm depth, and 281.3mm height. The graphics card is an ASUS GeForce GTX 1060, delivering average frame rates of 70fps or higher at 2K and Full HD resolutions. Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. The company explained that it reduces the limitations of existing security operations centers, which have had to forgo some data due to high cost structures, and enables large-scale data analysis and automation based on open formats and ecosystems. LakeWatch is currently offered as a private preview, with Adobe and Dropbox mentioned as early customers.
