Cognex Launches Vision System and Displacement Sensor in Domestic Market

Cognex announced the launch of the In-Sight® 7000 (In-Sight® 7000) GEN 2, a state-of-the-art vision system capable of fast and accurate inspection as well as flexible application in mixed-product production environments, and the In-Sight® Laser Profiler (In-Sight® Laser Profiler), a displacement sensor for high-precision component dimension verification.
The In-Sight 7000 GEN 2 is a standalone vision system with excellent flexibility and integration capabilities that performs fast and accurate inspection in line with production line speed, and its compact size enables easy installation even in space-constrained production environments. Additionally, its distinctive modular design provides over 400 different configurations, allowing flexible adaptation to any environment.
The In-Sight 7000 GEN 2 features IP67-rated waterproof and dustproof capabilities, and is equipped with Flexible Image Technology™ that optimizes image formation to deliver high-quality images without the need for expensive external lighting.
Additionally, it is equipped with an LED ring light function that effectively reduces reflective effects caused by lighting. The LED ring light function distributes lighting evenly across the entire image, eliminating the need for separate lighting installation. In addition, various lighting colors, optical filters, and polarizers can be selected, and a variety of C-mount and S-mount lenses replaceable in the field as well as industrial mechanical autofocus lens options are also provided.
Machine vision inspection is configured and monitored using In-Sight Explorer™. The In-Sight Explorer includes the EasyBuilder® interface for easy step-by-step application setup and the In-Sight Spreadsheet View function.
The In-Sight Laser Profiler uses red and blue lasers to enable more precise object detection, enhancing reliability, and is designed with Cognex vision tools and EasyBuilder interface to make it easier to set up and obtain measurement values for object height, step difference, gap, position, and angle.
The In-Sight Laser Profiler provides a simple and intuitive user interface, enabling micron-level precision measurement and inspection without specialized knowledge. In addition, it is also possible to remotely monitor production line operations through networked devices such as laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
