CDNetworks Announces Startup IT Infrastructure Support Program

The Korea Startup Forum is an organization launched in September 2016 to promote the development of the startup ecosystem, and it has joined forces with CDNetworks to operate the startup IT infrastructure support business, sharing the same purpose.
The CIA (CDNetworks Infra Aid) program, first launched in 2015 as a startup IT infrastructure support program, is now in its second year. Designed to alleviate the burden of IT infrastructure resources for startups currently providing services in overseas markets or planning to enter them, and to assist them in entering the global market, the program accepts applications until June 18. Through expert evaluation, a total of 15 companies will be selected to receive free support for global Content Delivery Network (CDN) and Security Cloud Computing services for up to one year.
By using the CIA program, computing resources required for web services can be built quickly and easily, and large-capacity content such as images and videos, as well as personalized information, can be transmitted quickly and reliably to domestic and international users, thereby increasing service stability and improving customer satisfaction. Security cloud computing supports up to 6 virtual machines and 24 CPUs, and the CDN provides free support for up to 5TB of data transfer.

NVIDIA Actively Supports Promising AI Startups with GPUs, Prize Money, and More
Through the Inception Awards ceremony at Nvidia's GPU Technology Conference (GTC), six startups that showcased ideas leveraging artificial intelligence were selected and awarded a total of $1.5 million in prize money. This awards ceremony marks the first event of Nvidia's Inception virtual accelerator program, through which Nvidia currently provides various resources including GPUs and networking support to 1,300 artificial intelligence startups worldwide. The selection of award winners included Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang as well as executives from Goldman Sachs, Fidelity Investments, SoftBank, Microsoft, and Coatue Management serving as judges. Based on presentations by 14 finalist teams at the final round held in San Francisco last month, the judges selected first and second place teams in three categories: ▲Most Promising Emerging Company ▲Most Innovative Company ▲Best Social Innovation Company.

악보 못 읽어도 작곡해요, 쿨잼입니다!
23일(화) 코엑스에서 열린 글로벌 스타트업 컨퍼런스 부스를 둘러보던 중, 마이크 앞에 섰다. “한번 해보세요! 쉬워요!” “흠~음흠흥흠!~”하자, 악보가 나타났다. 흥얼거리는 콧노래, ‘허밍’으로 녹음하고, 음을 수정하고, 원하는 장르를 선택하면 악보를, ‘노래’를 만들어주는 꿀잼컴퍼니의 험온(Hum un)이다. 악보는 SNS로 공유할 수 있고, 앱 내에서 관리할 수 있다. “따로 홍보한 적은 없는데, 베타버젼 다운로드가 250만을 넘겼어요. 60%는 외국 시장이고, 40%가 한국이예요.” 좋은건 알아보는 사람들의 안목에 국내 매체는 물론 미국의 테크크런치에도 보도된 바 있다. 험온의 주요 기능은 음을 신호로 옮겨오는 정보복원기술(MIR)과 어울릴만한 반주를 추천해주는 머신러닝 기법이다. 정보복원기술은 사람의 목소리 뿐만 아니라 파도소리, 빗물 소리 등으로도 작곡을 할 수 있어 악기를 다루지 못하고 악보를 읽을 수 없어도 누구나 작곡을 할 수 있다. 반주는 발라드부터 오케스트라, 록 등 여러 반주를 추천해주는 데 기계에 코드와 화성법을 학습시켜 어울릴만한 반주를 추천해주는 방식이다. “이러다 작곡가들 다 굶어 죽는 것 아닌가요?” “누구나 쉽게 작곡할 수 있지만, 작곡가들도 편하게 작곡할 수 있게 된거죠.” 현재 안드로이드 휴대폰에서 베타버젼으로 이용할 수 있으며 정식버전과 IOS버젼도 올해 출시 예정이다. 험온은 삼성전자 사내 벤쳐 육성기업 C랩에서 최병익 대표의 아이디어로 만들어졌다. 최 대표와 4명의 마음 맞는 직원은 지난해 5월 삼성전자에서 독립했고, 싱어송라이터와 디자이너가 추가 합류하며 7명의 꿀잼컴퍼니를 이뤘다.

SalePoint Signs Multi-Year Partnership Agreement with AWS… Promoting Identity Security that Integrates Even AI Agents
Sailpoint has entered into a multi-year strategic partnership agreement with AWS and is moving forward with establishing an integrated governance system that manages both human and non-human identities together. The plan is to consistently manage access permissions in an environment where AI agents are increasing as work execution entities, while applying the principle of least privilege and automated policy enforcement. The two companies plan to jointly expand capabilities to manage the identities of various entities, including AI agents, within a single layer in the AWS environment. This collaboration is interpreted as a move to design security and governance together in corporate environments where AI adoption is expanding.

Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. The company explained that it reduces the limitations of existing security operations centers, which have had to forgo some data due to high cost structures, and enables large-scale data analysis and automation based on open formats and ecosystems. LakeWatch is currently offered as a private preview, with Adobe and Dropbox mentioned as early customers. Databricks also announced an expanded partnership with Anthropic as well as the acquisition of Antimatter and SiftD.ai.
