SK Telecom announced the launch of Nugu Pokémon Edition, which provides Pokémon stickers that can decorate the AI speaker Nugu and Pokémon GO game items for mobile games.
Nugu Pokémon Edition is limited to 5,000 units. When purchasing Nugu packaged in a limited-edition Pokémon character box, customers receive Pokémon GO stickers and three types of Pokémon GO game items including Poké Balls, eggs, and incense.
Nugu Pokémon Edition can be purchased at online shopping malls including 11st, Gmarket, Tmon, and T World Direct, priced at 149,000 won.
Data coupons also feature Pokémon. SK Telecom is launching T Data Coupon Pokémon Edition, which features designs of 6 popular Pokémon characters. SK Telecom will first release the online card, and plans to release the physical card in June.
T Data Coupon Pokémon Edition can be purchased on SK Telecom's T World website (www.tworld.co.kr) and consists of 100MB data and three types of Pokémon GO game items (Poké Ball, egg, incense), with limited items (avatar costumes) also provided with a 5% probability. An event is also being held to give away one Lure Module on a first-come, first-served basis to the first 100,000 customers.

KT announced the launch of 'TV Ssok,' a service combining hyper VR technology with children's content on Olleh TV. Beginning on the 19th, TV Ssok, which will be commercialized through Olleh TV, is a two-way interactive play-learning service that provides virtual reality experiences to children through IPTV and smartphones as intermediaries. Through real-time object extraction and compositing technology, video-on-demand content and video footage captured on smartphones can be synthesized in real time. Children can create appearances that match with characters on the TV screen using their captured images. Animation characters can also run across the TV screen with the living room as the background. KT anticipates that the highly immersive TV Ssok service will be actively utilized as an educational solution for infants and young children, going beyond simple play. The TV Ssok service can be used without purchasing separate equipment. After launching, the smartphone can be placed near the TV or can be used to film children playing and running around.
