LG U+ Launches New G6 Plus and G6 32GB
Published2017.07.03 15:02LG Electronics' G6 Plus doubles the internal memory capacity to 128GB compared to the existing G6. Additionally, it is the first in the G series to feature wireless charging capability.
The G6 Plus comes bundled with B&O (Bang & Olufsen) Play earphones that support 'Hi-Fi Quad DAC', and is available in three colors: Optical Astro Black, Optical Marine Blue, and Optical Terra Gold.
The G6 32GB has the same specifications as the G6, except for the 32GB internal memory capacity, featuring a 5.7-inch Full Vision display, high-quality sound functionality, and LG Pay support. It is available in three colors: Marine Blue, Terra Gold, and Mystic White.
The suggested retail prices are 957,000 KRW for the G6 Plus and 819,500 KRW for the G6 32GB. LG U+ offers device subsidies of 151,000 KRW and 76,000 KRW respectively for 'Data Special A' (60,000 KRW basic rate category, including VAT: 65,890 KRW) with the highest customer subscription ratio, and 'Data Basic' (30,000 KRW category mid-to-low rate plan, including VAT: 32,890 KRW).
Additionally, customers can enjoy additional discounts by utilizing affiliate cards. By using the 'LG U+ Light Plan Shinhan Card Big Plus' or 'LG U+ Highlight KB Kookmin Card', customers can receive monthly billing discounts of up to 20,000 KRW and 25,000 KRW respectively over 24 months, depending on previous month's card usage.

The Innovation Stage features a 4.2-channel speaker system including 4 general speakers and 2 subwoofers. This product supports Dolby ATMOS, an advanced spatial audio system from U.S. company Dolby. Dolby ATMOS creates vivid spatial audio where sound appears to come from in front, behind, or above the user depending on the movement or position of objects on screen. For example, when an airplane flies over the protagonist's head, the sound is heard from above the viewer's head, providing a more three-dimensional and realistic sense of space.

LG전자, G6+와 소프트웨어 업그레이드 다음달 출시
LG전자가 G6 기반의 제품군을 늘려 출시한다. 기존 기능인 5.7인치 대화면 풀비전 디스플레이, 내구성, LG 페이 등에 내장메모리 용량, 편의 기능, 색상 등을 다변화했다. 신제품은 다음달 초 ‘LG G6+’와 32GB 내장메모리를 탑재한 LG G6 등 2종 출시된다. ‘LG G6+’는 128GB 내장메모리로 기존 64GB보다 2배 늘어난 용량으로 표준규격인 치(Qi) 방식의 무선 충전 기능도 탑재된다. LG전자는 하이파이 쿼드 댁(Quad DAC)이 제공하는 명품 사운드를 제대로 즐길 수 있도록 B&O 플레이 번들 이어폰도 제공한다. 색상은 ‘옵티컬 아스트로 블랙(Optical Astro Black)’, ‘옵티컬 테라 골드(Optical Terra Gold)’, ‘옵티컬 마린 블루(Optical Marine Blue)’ 등 3가지다. LG전자는 한국을 시작으로 ‘LG G6+’를 세계 시장에서 순차적으로 선보일 예정이다. 32GB 내장메모리의 G6는 기본 색상 미스틱 화이트(Mystic White)외에 테라 골드, 마린 블루 등을 추가해 총 3가지 색상으로 내놓을 예정이다.

The 'LG G6+' features 128GB of internal storage, which is twice the capacity of the existing 64GB, making it ideal for customers with high multimedia usage such as videos and games. Additionally, LG Electronics provides 'B&O PLAY' bundled earphones to properly enjoy premium sound through the Hi-Fi Quad DAC, and adds the B&O logo to the rear of the 'LG G6+'.
