CA Technologies Launches New Product for Effective API Management
Published2017.08.10 11:32Korean CA Technologies has announced new products and latest features in the 'CA API Management Portfolio' optimized for microservice development and deployment.
Through the new CA portfolio, developers, enterprise architects, and digital leaders can effectively manage application programming interfaces (APIs) that connect and orchestrate individual microservices and implement modern application architecture.
'CA Live API Creator' has expanded its capabilities to enable microservices to be developed, deployed, and executed faster, more effectively, and independently. Enterprises can support end-to-end microservice architecture through CA API Management Portfolio Docker container deployment options. Integration among API management products has also been expanded, allowing enterprises to leverage API management, security, and advanced monitoring capabilities for modern architecture even in enterprise or cloud environments.
Rahim Bhatia, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Developer Products at CA Technologies, stated, "Today's successful digital businesses are built on modern application architecture. The application agility and scalability of modern architecture lead to competitive advantage and positive customer experience, and in this context, APIs act like an adhesive that binds individual microservices into a complete modern application architecture."
Senior Vice President Bhatia added, "According to recent CA research, 88% of enterprises in the Asia-Pacific region have adopted APIs. Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation. The company explained that it reduces the limitations of existing security operations centers, which have had to forgo some data due to high cost structures, and enables large-scale data analysis and automation based on open formats and ecosystems. LakeWatch is currently offered as a private preview, with Adobe and Dropbox mentioned as early customers.
