LG OLED TV Wins European Imaging and Sound Association Award for 6 Consecutive Years

LG Electronics’ premium TVs, including OLED TVs and Super Ultra HD TVs, won the highest award in the field of audio-visual imagery in Europe on the 15th.
LG OLED TVs have been selected as the 'EISA OLED TVs' by the European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA). LG OLED TVs have won the 'EISA Award' without fail for six consecutive years since 2012.
The European Imaging and Sound Association gave a favorable review, stating, “LG OLED TVs display outstanding picture quality based on perfect black, and feature vivid color reproduction and a wide viewing angle. The expression of black brightness has improved compared to last year.” They also gave positive evaluations for support of various HDR standards such as Dolby Vision and HDR10, the ultra-slim design, the rich sound of Dolby Atmos, and ease of use.
The 'Super Ultra HD TV,' also known as the 'NanoCell TV,' received the 'EISA LCD TV' award. The European Imaging and Sound Association commented, "Thanks to the application of NanoCell technology, colors are very accurate, and consistent color and contrast ratios can be enjoyed even when viewed from the side."
The LG soundbar won in the 'EISA Soundbar' category. It is a rare product that combines both design and sound, and is praised for the harmonious blend of immersive sound created by Dolby Atmos technology and rich bass.
The 'EISA Awards,' organized by the European Imaging and Sound Association, are recognized globally as prestigious in the field of audio-visual imagery. The European Imaging and Sound Association is Europe's largest multimedia association, with participation from AV specialist magazines in over 20 European countries. Since 1982, it has annually selected and announced the best products in fields such as audio, video, photography, and mobile devices.
Kwon Bong-seok, Executive Vice President and Head of LG Electronics’ HE Business Division, emphasized, “We will continue to lead the premium TV market with products recognized for their advanced technology.”

LG Electronics' Q2 Earnings: Revenue Rises Thanks to Premium TVs Despite Mobile Slump
LG전자는 2분기 연결기준 매출 14조 5,514억 원, 영업이익 6,641억 원을 기록했다고 밝혔다. 매출과 영업이익은 전년 동기 대비 각각 3.9%, 13.6% 증가했다. 2분기 사업본부별 실적을 보면, 홈 어플라이언스(Home Appliance & Air Solution) 사업은 매출액 5조 2,518억 원, 영업이익 4,657억 원을 기록했다. 매출액은 한국 시장에서 에어컨, 세탁기 외에도 공기청정기, 건조기 등과 같은 신성장 제품의 판매 호조와 북미시장의 견조한 실적에 힘입어 전년 동기 대비 11.7% 증가했다. 영업이익은 원자재 가격 인상과 마케팅 비용 증가에도 매출 증가와 신모델 출시 효과로 전년 동기 대비 7.4% 증가했다.

LG전자 이라크 브랜드샵 오픈 "문화공간으로 자리매김 할 것"
