Gaming Monitors with Elaborate Graphics 32-inch/27-inch Unveiled
Processing 240 frames per second…expressing rapid motion

LG Electronics will unveil two gaming-specialized monitors at 'IFA 2017' held in Berlin starting September 1st.

The 31.5-inch gaming monitor is optimal for enjoying ultra-high-spec games with elaborate graphics. It incorporates NVIDIA's 'G-SYNC' technology. G-SYNC synchronizes the vast video signal output from the PC so the monitor does not miss it, eliminating screen tearing and stuttering phenomena.

This product displays 144 frames per second (144Hz, maximum 165 frames when overclocked). The greater the number of frames that can be processed per second, the smoother rapid motion is implemented. Compared to standard monitors that display 60 frames per second, this is more than twice as fast. The resolution is QHD (2,560x1,440), with pixels expressing color 78% denser than Full HD (1,920x1,080).



LG Electronics has applied LED lighting in a large circular shape on the back of the product. This lighting changes to various colors and softly illuminates the area around the monitor. It reduces the brightness difference between the screen and surroundings to relieve eye fatigue and enhances interior design effects. LG Electronics applied lighting to the monitor body based on the observation that consumers often turn off room lighting and attach LED lighting directly to the monitor to immerse themselves in games.

Users can adjust the monitor's height and angle, as well as position the screen vertically in portrait mode.

A 27-inch gaming monitor (model name: 27GK750F) optimized for games with fast screen transitions was also unveiled. This product processes 240 frames per second. It perfectly expresses shooting games where users frequently make rapid mouse movements and the screen changes instantaneously.

LG Electronics implemented 1/1,000 second response time with its proprietary '1 millisecond (1ms Motion Blur Reduction) mode'. Additionally, it incorporated AMD's FreeSync technology to minimize screen tearing and stuttering phenomena.

LG Electronics IT BD Executive Director Jang Ik-hwan emphasized, "We will continue to lead the monitor market with new gaming monitor products that perfectly express even ultra-high-spec games."
