Fitbit opens pop-up stores in three Seoul department stores in September
Published2017.08.30 13:08Fitbit announced that it will be running pop-up stores in three major department stores in Seoul for about a month starting August 25th to welcome the fall season.
From August 25 to September 7, product experience and discount events will be held at a total of three pop-up stores: Hyundai City Mall Garden Five, Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam (September 8 to 14), and Hyundai Department Store Pangyo (September 15 to 31).
Choi Jeong-woo, Fitbit Korea’s head of sales, said, “We opened pop-up stores in several locations so that more people can experience Fitbit’s innovative and smart health management features firsthand,” and “We are holding a special discount event ahead of Chuseok, Korea’s biggest holiday, so that it can be a smart gift for your family’s health management.”
During the pop-up store operation period, a special weekend event will also be held on Saturdays and Sundays. Demonstration events with famous fitness models, including star yoga instructor Lee Yu-ju, will showcase yoga and fitness tips as well as smarter and more efficient exercise methods using Fitbit products.

Global fitness wearable leader Fitbit announced that it will operate a "Summer Health In Style" pop-up store at the 9th floor of Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam Branch from July 18 (Tuesday) to July 30 (Sunday) this summer vacation season, where customers can directly experience Fitbit products and make discounted purchases. At this pop-up store, customers can directly experience five different Fitbit products that have captured the hearts of fitness enthusiasts worldwide: Alta HR, Charge 2, Flex 2, Blaze, and Alta, and will have the opportunity to purchase them at prices discounted by up to 60,000 won. Additionally, customers who purchase Charge 2, Blaze, and Alta products at the pop-up store will receive complimentary accessories (limited quantity), and customers who experience Fitbit products will receive three 20,000 won equivalent L'Occitane samples.
