Iotin Co., Ltd.’s Internet of Things ( IoT ) product, the smart pill dispenser MediAlarm, will participate in the 37th Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Hong Kong Electronics Fair 2017-Autumn Edition).

This event is Asia's largest electronics trade fair and will be held for four days from October 13 (Fri) to 16 (Mon) in Hong Kong, a hub for transit trade, with over 3,000 companies and 60,000 visitors from around the world participating.

Medialam plans to operate its booth at the exhibition in various ways, including product demonstrations, purchasing consultations, and hands-on experiences, allowing visitors and buyers to experience the products without pressure and obtain detailed product information.
MediAlarm is a product that utilizes Internet of Things (IoT) technology to link with smartphones and applications, offering features such as medication time reminders, guardian notifications, medication record management, and medication search. Currently, two types have been launched: 'Medi-Alarm S', suitable for users who take medication regularly three times a day, such as for diabetes, and 'Medi-Alarm Lite', suitable for users who take medication once a day, such as for arthritis or high blood pressure.

In addition to the Hong Kong exhibition, Medialam plans to participate in various exhibitions, starting with the 'ICT Convergence Exhibition GMV 2017' held at KINTEX in Ilsan for three days starting September 13, followed by the '10th Dementia Overcoming Expo' at COEX on September 18, and the 'IT Expo Busan' at BEXCO from September 25 to 29.

Seo Byeong-hyeon, CEO of IOTIN, stated the purpose of the participation, saying, “I want to show through MediAlarm that IoT technology can be of great help in improving the quality of life.” He added, “In particular, MediAlarm’s guardian notification feature was designed to help me look after my sick wife, and I believe this function can be of great help not only to patients but also to their guardians.”
