Plans to introduce Weezoon Service, an IoT-based ultra-close lifestyle platform, to the world

Bintech concluded an agreement under the auspices of the Korea ICT Convergence Association and the Korean-American Chamber of Commerce in Silicon Valley at the National Assembly Members' Hall, aimed at the "Joint R&D Innovation Capacity Enhancement Project for Global Job Creation in the Fourth Industrial Revolution."

Bintech, participating as one of 23 leading ICT companies in this event, is a strong mid-sized company selected by the Ministry of Labor that has gained recognition for its achievements in the high-performance computing field of electrical, electronic and semiconductor sectors and in supplying enterprise system management solutions.

Bintech is expanding its new business model by developing and supplying various services through recent research and development in the IoT field. In particular, Bintech's Weezoon Service, which launched on August 10th, is composed of low-power Bluetooth devices and a Weezoon app targeting general consumers for loss prevention and missing person prevention. It began to attract attention following the Vivaldi Park Ocean World launch event.

The Korea ICT Convergence Association and the Korean-American Chamber of Commerce in Silicon Valley plan to implement a project that links companies in Silicon Valley to promote global expansion of Korean-American IT companies and build R&D cooperation. Preliminary education will be conducted domestically under the leadership of the Korea ICT Convergence Association to enable excellent Korean IT talent to engage in activities in the United States through internships.

Additionally, the Korean-American Chamber of Commerce agreed to provide maximum support when domestic young IT personnel, startups, and small-to-medium enterprises conduct entrepreneurship education in Silicon Valley and engage in IR-related activities to attract investment locally. Furthermore, both parties agreed to open a hotline to actively support market expansion in the United States.

CEO Kim Hak-ki stated, "Bintech plans to verify the internationalization and globalization of our products in Silicon Valley, where IT technologies from around the world are concentrated, and to develop local distribution channels. The cooperation with the Korean-American Chamber of Commerce in Silicon Valley through this MOU will be of great help," and added, "We will widely introduce the Weezoon Service and products launched this time to the American market, and establish our foundation as a provider of an IoT-based ultra-close lifestyle platform."
