ADI Releases MOSFET Driver Operating Up to 60V Supply Voltage
Published2017.09.08 15:27Analog Devices announced the release of the new LTC7004 high-speed high-side N-channel MOSFET driver, which operates up to a supply voltage of 60V.
The new product's internal charge pump enables the external N-channel MOSFET switch to be fully driven and kept in an always-on state. The LTC7004's powerful 1Ω gate driver can easily drive MOSFETs with high gate capacitance within very short switching times and a propagation delay of 35ns, making it suitable for both high-frequency switching applications and static switch applications.
The LTC7004 is designed to rapidly drive a high-side N-channel power MOSFET with a ground-referenced low-voltage digital input signal, allowing the drain voltage of the MOSFET to be from 0V to 60V (65V abs max).
The LTC7004 supports adjustable undervoltage lockout (UVLO) and operates within a driver bias supply voltage range of 3.5V to 15V. Its rise and fall speeds are very fast at 13ns, allowing for minimized switching losses when driving a 1,000pF load. Additionally, it supports adjustable turn-on slew rate and overvoltage lockout (OVLO) functions.

ADI Launches Non-Isolated Inverting Output Regulator
Analog Devices announced the launch of LTM4651, a new non-isolated inverting output μModule regulator that can generate -26.5V to -0.5V output from positive (+) input supply voltage. The LTM4651 operates in an input voltage range of 3.6V to 58V and is offered as a compact solution in a 15mm x 9mm x 5.01mm BGA package. The new product delivers output of ±5VOUT, ±12VOUT, ±15VOUT, ±24VOUT from industry-standard 5VIN, 12VIN or 24VIN input voltages, and is designed to meet EN55022 Class B EMC standards for IT equipment. Because the product supports a wide voltage range and low EMI characteristics, it can be utilized in applications in harsh environments such as measurement and instrumentation, industrial, factory automation, process control, medical devices, imaging and telecommunications.
