Over the past two years, the number of NVIDIA officially certified PC cafes has expanded to 40 nationwide.

NVIDIA announced that the world's first PC bang with all seats upgraded to 'GeForce GTX 1080 Ti' has opened in Korea.

'Umji PC Bang,' located in Ilsandong-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do, has become the world's first PC bang equipped with GeForce GTX 1080 Ti in every seat by upgrading all 76 seats. Although Umji PC Bang was already a Platinum-level NVIDIA certified PC bang, it has earned the title of a top-tier Platinum certified PC bang through additional upgrades.

The GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is the latest graphics card released in March of this year, featuring 3,584 NVIDIA CUDA cores and an 11GB frame buffer running at 11Gbps. It also offers up to 35% improved performance compared to the GeForce GTX 1080 and up to 78% improved performance compared to the GTX 1070.

NVIDIA selects officially certified PC cafes based on an internal review process that evaluates factors such as the total number of PCs and the average monthly number of visitors, targeting PC cafes equipped with the latest GeForce high-end graphics cards. PC cafes that have introduced 70 or more GTX 1070s will be awarded a 1-star 'Silver' certification, PC cafes that have introduced 40 or more GTX 1080s and 30 or more GTX 1070s will be awarded a 2-star 'Gold' certification, and PC cafes that have introduced 70 or more GTX 1080s and GTX 1080 Tis will be awarded a 3-star 'Platinum' certification.

Over the past two years, the number of NVIDIA-certified PC cafes has increased to 40 nationwide. Among them, there are three NVIDIA 'Platinum' certified PC cafes introduced for the first time this year: Ilsan Eomji PC Cafe, which is equipped with GeForce GTX 1080 Ti at every seat, and the Jongno and Suwon branches of 'Juwon VRIZ PC Cafe,' which positions itself as a VR PC cafe with the latest specifications.

Recently, differentiated officially certified PC cafes are also emerging, such as 'Raid PC Cafe' in Songpa-gu, Seoul, and 'B.one PC Cafe' in Gangbuk-gu, which have introduced GeForce VR Experience Zones certified by NVIDIA's 'VR Ready' program.

With the increasing demand for immersive gaming experiences driven by the popularity of various games featuring stunning graphics, such as Overwatch and Battlegrounds, the trend of PC cafes equipped with high-spec graphics cards is expected to continue for the time being.
