Up to 43% Faster Performance Streamlines Workflows to Boost Work Productivity

Lenovo Korea announced that the ThinkStation P920 and ThinkStation P720 workstations, designed to maximize work efficiency, will be launched within the year. The two new workstations are engineered to deliver up to 43% faster performance compared to users' existing products and simplify workflows to increase work productivity.

The Lenovo ThinkStation P Series P920 and P720 support the latest Intel Xeon processors configured with up to 3.6GHz per CPU or 28 cores, and feature M.2 NVMe storage that can be directly connected to the motherboard. Additionally, the memory channels have been enhanced to 6 channels, enabling wider memory bandwidth and faster memory processing speeds to handle compute-intensive problems requiring large capacity. For customers working with large CAD project files, full RAID support for NVMe drives is also provided.

The P920 and P720 are workstations optimized to deliver performance tailored to users across diverse industry sectors including media and entertainment, manufacturing, construction, and oil and gas. As cutting-edge workstations designed for professionals in each field requiring extensive computational capacity and large amounts of memory, the Lenovo ThinkStation P920 and P720 enable editing and processing of high-capacity files to shorten project timelines.

The P920 is a state-of-the-art dual-processor workstation supporting up to 3 NVIDIA GPUs, with up to 2TB DDR4 2666MHz memory, 16 DIMMs, and up to 12 internal drives. It delivers 1400W of output, boasts 92% high efficiency, and has obtained ISV (Independent Software Vendor) testing and certification.

The P720 is a dual-processor workstation with diverse functionality. It supports up to 2 NVIDIA Quadro GP100 graphics cards and features total memory of up to 384GB RDIMM 2666MHz DDR4 with 12 DIMM slots. Additionally, the P720 accommodates up to 12 total drives, delivers up to 900W of output, and boasts 92% high efficiency. Notably, it provides a newly designed memory baffle for an enhanced cooling system for core components.
