Secured approximately 63 billion won in additional investment funds from existing investors

MapR achieved strong results in its earnings announcement for the second quarter of fiscal year 2018. MapR continues to grow in competition with both traditional and modern big data solutions, and supports numerous companies and organizations in implementing digital transformation ahead of the curve.

MapR has secured approximately 63 billion KRW in investment from existing investors. The funds are planned to be used to continue innovating the industry's first enterprise big data platform for diverse data utilization. Additionally, the capital will be used to accelerate national and regional growth to meet demand for the MapR single data platform across Asia and Europe, and to strengthen support for MapR's global partner community.

MapR recorded 100% growth in total transaction volume, its largest growth rate, in the second quarter of its fiscal year 2018 (May – July 2017). The reasons for this performance include product innovation, an increase in key global partners, and the acquisition of key customers. MapR recorded a 100% increase in new product subscription revenue compared to the same quarter of last year, which served as a catalyst for achieving a 70% year-over-year growth rate.

Forbes Global 2000 companies, including American Express, Audi, Cisco, Ericsson, HPE, Novartis, NTT Security, SAP, UnitedHealthcare, and Wells Fargo, are using the MapR single data platform.
