Search solution added to RSN's social big data analysis platform

Elastic Korea announced that it has formed a strategic partnership with big data analysis solution provider RSN and will provide its search platform to the social big data analysis platform being developed by RSN.

Elasticsearch, a global company in the real-time log analysis and search field based on open source, has been actively forming partnerships with global companies recently due to its easy expansion in the field of distributed search engines. In particular, Elasticsearch provides sufficient search performance and development convenience, and due to the nature of open source, the technical community is active, and there are also many big data search references worldwide.

In particular, in the social media field, the types of data are diverse and the form of language changes rapidly, so in order to respond, the functions of the search engine must be changed or functions must be added frequently. Elasticsearch has an advantage over other companies because it is based on global open source.

RSN has entered into this partnership to provide faster and more accurate analysis results by combining Elastic's data search platform with its social big data analysis platform that incorporates key technologies such as data collection, text mining, and machine learning.

RSN's text mining solution is evaluated as a company that is competitive in natural language processing (NLP) capabilities, especially those required for processing unstructured data such as language. In addition to text mining, we also have a massive morphological dictionary that serves as the basis for search engines, having been accumulating a morphological dictionary since 2010.

Park Jeong-ho, head of RSN's research lab, said, "RSN has a massive amount of data collection, data processing capabilities, and multilingual natural language processing capabilities in English/Chinese/Korean, which are key functions for analyzing social big data." He continued, "Elasticsearch supports schema flexibility that can be changed according to the situation to be suitable for processing various types of social big data, supports processing of large amounts of data exceeding 10 billion, and provides cloud-based scalability to expand the system scale at any time. Through the partnership between the two companies that have solid technologies in the two major fields of social big data analysis, RSN's customers will be able to experience a more powerful social big data analysis platform."
