Thirteen public and private organizations are holding a large-scale startup job fair together with promising startups to secure top talent for startups and promote youth employment.

This event, hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, is jointly organized by nine leading startup universities in the Seoul area, including Yonsei University, the Korea Startup Foundation, the Seoul Business Agency, and the Youth Hope Foundation, and is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, November 21 at Baekyang Nuri, Yonsei University.

The job fair is an event where 84 companies participate, ranging from promising companies recognized for their growth potential by the private sector, such as venture capital firms (hereinafter 'VC'), to beneficiaries of government startup support programs that have secured financial soundness and employment stability through sales and investment attraction, and where everything from recruitment to corporate promotion takes place in a one-stop manner.

Pre-verified companies are participating, including the cosmetics online commerce company 'Memebox', which received 143 billion won in investment from global VCs; 'Flitto', an AI/crowd intelligence translation service used by over 7.5 million people in 173 countries; 'MangoPlate', Korea's No. 1 restaurant search service used by 2 million people; and 'Miso', an O2O home cleaning service that received 3.1 billion won in investment from Y-Combinator in the US and recorded cumulative sales of 10 billion won within two years of its founding. Additionally, about 10 companies are participating, including technology startups from Naver D2, Samsung C-Lab spinoff startups, and FinTech startups nurtured by Hanwha Dream Plus.

Young job seekers participating in the fair can enjoy various benefits through side events in addition to job interviews.

Kim Min-seok, CEO of SmartStudy, famous for 'Pinkfong Baby Shark,' will deliver a lecture on business know-how and the content industry as a whole. Additionally, as a side event, 'Career Talk' will provide an opportunity to resolve questions about employment at startups through conversations with mentors who are managing startups or working as developers, marketers, or designers.

In addition, services practically needed by job seekers are provided, such as aptitude testing and career consulting based on brain analysis, personal statement consulting, and image making to secure employment.

On the day of the event, a 'Job Fair Docent' service will be operated to provide on-site matching, connecting participants with suitable companies.
