LG Electronics launches new 'LG gram' products domestically, strengthening its leadership in the ultra-lightweight notebook market.
During the pre-order period that ran for approximately two weeks starting from the 15th of last month, LG Electronics received over 2,000 advance orders. This is the first time LG Electronics has conducted pre-order sales for a notebook product.
Ahead of March, the peak season for the notebook market and the academy season, LG Electronics is launching full-scale marketing at sales outlets nationwide. LG Electronics will gift an 'Intel Gaming SW Value Pack' to customers who purchase the 2018 'LG gram' premium model (products with Intel i7 CPU). This package consists of 6 popular games including 'Tera' and photo and video editing programs. It is valued at approximately 350,000 won.
LG Electronics also provides the '2018 Gram Office Value Pack'. This package includes a 1-year license for approximately 500 font types and a perpetual license for Hancom Office 2018. It is valued at approximately 440,000 won. Additionally, for customers who wish to add extra storage devices such as SSD (Solid State Drive) or memory, LG Electronics provides service coupons that allow free upgrades at service centers. Furthermore, a USB-PD type charger that enables fast charging of both smartphones and 'LG gram' is provided.
LG Electronics provides the '2018 Gram Office Value Pack' and USB-PD charger to customers who purchase 'LG gram' with Intel i5 CPU. Customers purchasing products equipped with Intel i3 CPU receive the '2018 Gram Office Value Pack'.
The 2018 'LG gram' features an additional slot that allows installation of extra SSD and memory. Additionally, it is characterized by ▲durability that has passed 7 items of the U.S. Department of Defense reliability test known as 'military spec' ▲enhanced performance with Intel 8th generation quad-core CPU ▲battery that enables up to 31 hours of usage ▲convenience of completing boot and login in one step with fingerprint recognition functionality.

Pre-orders for the new 'LG Gram' that is convenient and lasts longer
LG Electronics will begin pre-order sales of the 2018 'LG gram' starting from the 15th through the 31st of this month. LG Electronics will conduct pre-order sales of the 'LG gram' at representative LG Best Shop locations nationwide, online shopping malls, and other outlets through the end of this month. During this period, all customers purchasing the 'LG gram' will receive a complimentary 256GB capacity SSD (Solid State Drive). Additionally, customers will be provided with coupons to receive free SSD additional installation service at LG Best Shop service centers nationwide. LG Electronics has applied a slot to the 'LG gram' that allows users to attach an additional SSD storage device. If users lack space to store files, photos, and other data, they can add an SSD to the 'LG gram'. According to market research conducted by LG Electronics, insufficient storage capacity was identified as the primary reason consumers hesitate to purchase ultralight notebooks. In response, the company applied an additional slot to address this concern.
