Wacom Launches Bamboo Tip Touch Pen Supporting Android & iOS

Wacom has launched the Bamboo Tip, a fine-tip stylus that supports both Android and iOS devices. The Bamboo Tip provides a digital note-taking experience across multiple devices without compatibility issues.
Mike Gay, Senior Vice President of Wacom Consumer Business, said, "We live in a 'connected world' where everything in our daily lives is connected, and we use smartphones and tablets with various operating systems when working or brainstorming ideas. Solution providers are showcasing ways to take notes on devices, and Bamboo Tip will help users increase productivity and bring their ideas to life."
The Bamboo Tip features enhanced 'touchscreen detection' capabilities to accurately recognize the pen when placed on the screen. In particular, it eliminates the need for pairing between the device and the stylus, making it easy to move around. It is now possible to sketch notes written on an iPhone on an iPad and review the work on an Android-based device. A list of compatible devices can be found on the Wacom website.
The Bamboo Tip features a dark blue color and an aluminum-surfaced clip, providing a tactile feel and enhanced durability. With a 20-hour battery life and convenient charging capabilities, it offers improved portability and mobility. After the initial charge, you can use the Bamboo Tip by pressing the button, and when not in use, you can turn it off by pressing the button for a few seconds. Pen performance can be adjusted by changing the frequency of communication between the stylus and the device via the switch located on the top of the stylus.
