NCH Korea announced the launch of 'STEEL BOND', a 19g low-temperature welding agent that helps perform welding work at temperatures of 221℃.

Existing electric or oxygen welders have large basic equipment and many auxiliary tools. In addition, precise welding is difficult, and if the area is thin, holes are created, and there are safety issues due to high temperatures ranging from 3500℃ (oxygen) to 5000℃ (electricity) during welding.

NCH's STEEL BOND is a low-temperature welding agent that can be used at a relatively low temperature of 221℃, so it can be easily welded on site without separate welding equipment using a torch or lighter, which are common heat sources. It is also small enough to fit in a pocket, so it is easy to use, yet allows for precise welding, and even when the welding area is thin, it can be used without holes, and there is little chance of a dangerous situation occurring.



The total size of Steelbond including the case is 25g (actual product weight 19g), and it can weld most metals such as iron, copper, and stainless steel (SUS). Steelbond contains a special flux, which is an essential material for welding materials used to prevent oxidation of the bonding surface when joining metals, and it removes the oxide film on the welding surface and lowers the surface tension of the welding material, enabling a strong weld. Steelbond does not contain harmful substances such as lead, zinc, or cadmium, and the welded area does not corrode.

These NCH steel bonds meet the strict standards of the USDA (United States Department of Agriculture) and can be used for welding food equipment. They can also be used for general mechanical equipment, air conditioning equipment, oil processing equipment, kitchen equipment, and hydraulic cylinder maintenance.
