Huawei's Consumer Business Group announced that it has won six awards at the 'iF Design Award 2018'. The award-winning products include Huawei's flagship smartphone products HUAWEI Mate 10, HUAWEI Mate 10 Pro, and HUAWEI nova 2, the notebook product HUAWEI MateBook X, as well as the HUAWEI 4G Router and VR device HUAWEI VR 2, totaling six products.
The award-winning works were selected by the iF Awards Committee, which is composed of a total of 63 industry experts. Through this achievement, Huawei has demonstrated its continuous efforts in quality, design, and performance improvement, and has been able to continue its track record of winning global awards for products that boast both refined design and strong performance.
HUAWEI MateBook X
With a thickness of 12.5mm and weight of 1.05kg, the HUAWEI MateBook X has set new standards in product weight and portability. The HUAWEI MateBook X's all-metal body completes an exquisite exterior design, while the integrated fingerprint recognition scanner and power button add intuitiveness and convenience. The 88% screen-to-body ratio provides users with a more immersive visual experience.

LG Uplus Seeks Partners to Implement 5G
LG U+ issued a Request For Proposal (RFP) for 5G network equipment procurement and held a briefing session attended by Nokia, Samsung Electronics, Ericsson, LG, and Huawei, during which it presented 5G commercialization strategies, preparation status, and project schedules. Additionally, it explained detailed technical specifications and business requirements for equipment based on the NSA (Non-Standalone) standard included in the RFP. The RFP also included requirements for simultaneous support of both NSA and SA (Standalone). 5G base stations supporting Massive MIMO, RRUs (Remote Radio Units) compatible with separate antennas, and 5G repeaters were all designed to be supported. As a result, it committed to taking the lead in building a 5G ecosystem based on coexistence between large, medium, and small enterprises, enabling domestic small and medium-sized equipment companies in the antenna and repeater sectors to participate in the future.
