Wacom Launches New Intuos for Unleashing Creativity
Published2018.03.07 10:40Wacom has launched a new Intuos pen tablet designed for convenient use by its users. The new product comes bundled with software for drawing, painting, and image editing, allowing anyone to easily start digital work. In particular, users can engage in creative activities in a digital environment through a natural pen experience, enhanced precision, and improved online browsing capabilities. Users aspiring to become professionals in fields such as comics, painting, and photo editing can simply download the software suited to their specific creative goals and begin working.
“The combination of hardware and software enhances user convenience in creative activities, and Wacom is committed to providing the best creative environment through partnerships with leading software companies. We believe that advanced performance and useful software will be important factors for users when choosing the new Intuos,” said Pike Karaoglu, Vice President of Wacom’s Creative Business Unit.
Buyers of the new Intuos product will receive a software package worth up to 170,000 won for free. The software package for creative work consists of 'Corel® Painter® Essentials 6,' which can be used for design and illustration work; 'Clip Studio Paint Pro,' suitable for webtoons or comics; and 'Corel AfterShot 3,' specialized for photo editing. Various tutorial videos are provided to help anyone use the software conveniently. The software provided varies depending on the Intuos model.
The new Intuos features built-in wireless Bluetooth functionality in select models. It has been released in a total of three colors and is available in small and medium sizes. While the workspace of all models remains the same as the previous version, the size and weight have been reduced. The product body features four Express Keys and an LED status indicator, and the Bluetooth-enabled models boast a 60% improvement in battery life.
The battery-free Intuos pen, equipped with EMR (Electromagnetic Resonance) technology, supports 4,096 pressure sensitivity levels and boasts a smooth touch and excellent grip along with an ergonomic design. The tip of the pen features a storage compartment for the nib and a tool for replacing it. The domestic launch is scheduled for after the end of March.

Wacom Launches Bamboo Tip Touch Pen Supporting Android & iOS
