Element14 announced that it has signed a new global franchise agreement with Amphenol SV Microwave. Through this agreement, Element14 will be able to add high-frequency microwave band products up to 100 GHz to its RF connector, adapter, and cable assembly product line. Additionally, through this agreement, Element14 becomes the exclusive distributor of Amphenol SV Microwave within Europe and can secure new customers and markets through innovative services such as next-day delivery.
Amphenol SV Microwave is a company that has designed and manufactured RF/microwave coaxial connectors, cable assemblies, and passive components for over 50 years, and launches products suitable for military, Internet of Things, 5G communications, satellite, high-speed networks, aerospace, and commercial applications.
Dave Beck, Product Management Director of Element14 EMCO, stated "Through the new agreement with Amphenol SV Microwave, we are now able to provide customers with full-service solutions" and added "We have accumulated diverse experience in supporting customers from design through initial production, enabling customers to advance their true end-to-end solutions to the mass production stage."
Doug Snader, Sales Director of Amphenol SV Microwave, also said "Design engineers are now able to use our high-frequency products that deliver high performance and reliability" and noted "Particularly for customers in Europe, through Element14's next-day delivery service, they can quickly access Amphenol SV Microwave's high-quality products."

Element 14 Supports the Dreams and Future of the Young Generation with Micro:bit
Element 14 is supplying 100,000 micro:bits to KidsCode Jeunesse in support of Canada's CanCode initiative. The micro:bits will be used by children and youth across Canada through an agreement between KidsCode Jeunesse, which is supporting children and young people in developing digital competencies. President Dawn Hill stated, "Element 14 is committed to coding education for children and laying the groundwork for the next generation of engineers. Our partnership with KidsCode Jeunesse will be instrumental in helping the Canadian government achieve success in this important initiative." European Patent Applications Surpass 200,000 for the First Time… South Korea Maintains 5th Place, Led by Batteries and Telecommunications
According to the European Patent Office (EPO)'s 'Technology Dashboard 2025', European patent applications last year reached 201,974, surpassing 200,000 for the first time. Korean companies and inventors filed 14,355 applications, representing a 9.5% increase from the previous year and maintaining 5th place by country. Battery, digital communication, and semiconductor technologies led the growth, with Samsung ranking as the top EPO applicant for the second consecutive year and LG reaching 3rd place. The presence of major domestic cities such as Seoul, Suwon, and Yongin was also confirmed. It was also revealed that Korea's European patent strategy is expanding beyond individual technologies to span the entire industry.

SK Telecom First Applies AI-Based Network Operations at Gwanghwamun K-Pop Concert
SK Telecom announced that it applied an AI-based network operation system for the first time at a large-scale K-pop concert held in the Gwanghwamun area of Seoul on March 21st, managing communication quality throughout the event. Mobile data usage during the three hours before and after the concert reached 12.15TB, approximately doubling compared to the same time slot the previous weekend. SK Telecom monitored traffic using the AI system 'A-One' in five-minute and 50-meter units to respond to potential overload situations, while also operating temporary communication facilities and on-site personnel in parallel. This case is interpreted as confirmation of the practical applicability of AI-based autonomous network operation in an environment where demand from dense events and foreign users increases simultaneously.
