Establishing and operating the Korean Pavilion at Germany's 'Light+Building 2018'

The LED Industry Forum has opened a Korean pavilion at the 'Light + Building 2018', the world's largest lighting exhibition in Frankfurt.

The Korean Pavilion is jointly established and operated by the LED Industry Forum and KOTRA Frankfurt Trade Center, and will be held at the exhibition hall for six days from March 18 to 23 to widely promote the quality and technological excellence of Korean LED lighting to visitors from around the world.

This year's 'Light+Building' exhibition will feature over 2,700 companies from 55 countries, showcasing the latest products and innovations for lighting, electrical engineering, home and building automation and safety.

In particular, Korean lighting companies such as Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics, Seoul Semiconductor, Alto, Anycasting, Dongmyeong Electric, Irico Lighting, Philux, Icepipe, LG Display, Lumens, Maltani, Tabi, Yeonggong Lighting, and Solaruce are participating in this exhibition, including the Korean Pavilion, to showcase excellent Korean technology and design products.

Meanwhile, in the Korean pavilion consisting of 15 domestic LED companies, ▲Union Electronics and Communications will present LED converter products, ▲JPK Korea will present LED system lighting and crime prevention and control solutions, ▲Nasphil Korea will present various indoor and outdoor LED lighting products, ▲Solux will present LED design generation lighting, ▲M.Albas will present web-based software and various modules, switches, etc., ▲Glow One will present high-efficiency LED industrial lighting, and ▲Jae Kyung Jeon Gwang Industry will present LED PAR38 Reflect.or lamps and infrared lamps ▲Dooyoung TNS will exhibit high-power LED floodlights ▲Apack will exhibit high-power LED floodlights and general industrial lighting ▲CTL will exhibit various LED PKGs and modules, and lighting products ▲GL Vision will exhibit QD (Quantum dot) LED lighting products with a color rendering index of 95Ra ▲Yuyang D&U will exhibit high-power LED sports lighting and Y smart farm systems ▲Kimin Electronics will exhibit LED factory lighting and floodlight lighting products ▲Jinwoo ELTEC will exhibit LED lighting tower products ▲HSP will exhibit and introduce LED converter products from Korbit (HSP Power).

LED Industry Forum Secretary General Moon Ok-kyun said, “Through the operation of the Korean Pavilion, we are providing marketing support so that actual contracts can be promoted with buyers, and we are also guiding branch office establishment projects for companies wishing to advance into the European region.” He added, “In particular, we plan to systematize the list of influential buyers linked to the ‘Russia Interlight Moscow,’ ‘Hong Kong International Lighting Fair,’ Korean Pavilion activities that the forum has operated so far, including ‘Light+Building,’ and the North American LED Lighting Export Consortium, so that we can provide practical assistance to domestic companies.”

In addition, President Moon added, “We will actively cooperate with KOTRA and Messe Frankfurt to invite the relevant buyers to the ‘2018 International LED & OLED EXPO’ to be held at KINTEX in Ilsan in June and do our best to serve as a bridge between domestic and foreign companies in the academic, exhibition, and trade fields related to LED.”
