VMware vRealize Update for Enterprise Hybrid Cloud Management

This update announcement reflects VMware customer feedback and is characterized by providing IT governance to customers and simplifying business innovation approaches through "self-driving" operations that optimize workload performance and capacity, as well as IT automation and productivity capabilities across hybrid clouds.
VMware vRealize Suite enables enterprises to manage and provision computing, network, storage, and application services across hybrid cloud environments. It also strengthens automation, operations, and management capabilities required across the integrated platform, enabling efficient management of the Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC) stack.
Ajay Singh, Senior Vice President at VMware headquarters and President of the Cloud Management Business Division, said, "VMware is focused on driving innovation through its Cloud Management Platform (CMP) and accelerating customers' successful digital transformation," and added, "Going forward, VMware will continue to help customers accelerate hybrid cloud adoption through IT operations management and automation, simplify the process, and drive change in their business."
Products included in this announcement are vRealize Operations 6.7, vRealized Automation 7.4, vRealize Business for Cloud 7.4, vRealize Orchestrator 7.4, vRealize Log Insight 4.6, and vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager 1.2.
VMware vRealize Operations 6.7 provides a "self-driving" operational approach, enabling enterprises to optimize monitoring, data center management, and cloud environment operations. It also provides enhanced monitoring and troubleshooting capabilities across VMware's Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC) stack, enabling better prediction and resolution of issues.
VMware vRealize Automation 7.4 focuses on enabling customers to achieve stable operations, increased productivity, and rapid evaluation. This announcement showcases enhanced service deployment capabilities, multi-tenancy, and strengthened product integration.
vRealize Suite Lifecycle Manager, which automatically upgrades vRealize Suite products to maintain the latest infrastructure status, extended the lifecycle management domain through this announcement from existing infrastructure and cloud environments to IT content management.
This announcement is related to VMware Cloud Services update news that VMware disclosed in early this year. VMware Cloud Services introduced VMware Log Intelligence along with enhanced features of Wavefront by VMware and VMware Cost Insight. Therefore, enterprises can freely choose between service-based subscription models or on-premises models according to their business requirements.

Databricks Unveils Open AI Security Monitoring 'Lakewatch'
Databricks entered the security market on March 24 by unveiling LakeWatch, an open-source agentic SIEM. The core functionality of this product is to integrate and analyze security, IT, and business data in a single environment to support AI-based threat detection and investigation.
