Vertiv announced that it has been selected as a member company of the Ericsson Energy Alliance.

The Ericsson Energy Alliance aims to expand market share, achieve sustainable growth, and advance 5G access networks by providing competitive ecosystem management. Vertiv's selection as a member company was based on highly valued recognition of Vertiv's solid global network, innovative product competitiveness and services, as well as the speed and flexibility delivered by its world-class research and development, design, and engineering teams.

As part of the Ericsson Radio Site System, this alliance encompasses all elements of site infrastructure configuration necessary to deliver network performance and operational efficiency to mobile operators. Through this partnership, Ericsson has expanded its product portfolio to broaden access to new technologies, strengthened regional sales support, and established a consistent ecosystem to support telecom access network and 5G business development, thereby gaining stronger competitive advantages. Through this alliance, Ericsson and Vertiv are enabling closer collaboration in strategic product planning and development, creating synergies in research and development, design, and product launch.

Through the Ericsson Energy Alliance, Vertiv provides a broad range of customized OEM power systems and enclosures, including solar hybrid solutions for off-grid sites not connected to the power grid, or bad-grid sites with unreliable power grid connections. Additionally, Vertiv meets any regional requirements through provision of diverse products, solutions, and services.
