Two new products, including 'Crazy Boat', to be unveiled for the first time in Busan

A VR theme park is opening in Busan, the center of southeastern South Korea.
Motion Device announced that it will open 'Kong VR Haeundae', the first VR theme park in the Busan area, in Haeundae, Busan on the 25th.

VR theme parks, which combine VR technology and amusement rides to provide realistic fun as if you were in an actual amusement park even indoors, are recently gaining attention as a killer service for maximizing customer attraction, especially among large retailers such as department stores. With the opening of Kong VR Haeundae, the VR theme park market in the Busan area is expected to grow rapidly.

Kong VR Haeundae, located in the center of Haeundae Main Beach, is Busan's first full-fledged VR theme park, consisting of nine VR attraction devices and various rides developed by Motion Device, including two new products.

In particular, the new product 'Crazy Boat', which recreates 99% of the feeling of actual rafting with the ocean as the background, and 'TongTong Rider', where up to three people ride on quad bikes and engage in racing battles using various items, will be introduced for the first time in Busan.

VR attractions that proved popular at 'Kong VR Jamsil', which opened last March, are also scheduled to welcome customers. Haeundae also offers the immersive roller coaster 'NoLimits 2' inspired by 7 real roller coasters, 'High-altitude Experience' where you walk precariously on the exterior walls and pipes of high-rise buildings, and 'Top Space Vulcan', a 2-person shooting game where you spin 360 degrees to shoot down enemy flying objects.
Motion Device CEO Jong-chan Lee said, “Kong VR Haeundae will offer a total of nine VR attraction rides, including two new products, providing an exhilarating experience similar to an actual amusement park,” adding, “We are delighted to be opening the first full-fledged VR theme park in Busan where you can enjoy the essence of VR attraction products.”

Meanwhile, Kong VR Theme Park plans to open 10 stores in major shopping districts in Korea next year alone, including Jamsil, Haeundae, and Gangnam, and is also accelerating the export of its technology-intensive VR attractions and content.
